Don’t forget I have also written about cheap and expensive Polytechnics in Nigeria

The major difference between Polytechnics and Universities is the type of certificate they award. Generally, Universities award Degree level after completion of studies

Polytechnics award a Diploma certificate

Also, it is important to note that Polytechnics students are kind of better backed than their university or college counterpart

This is because of regular practices Polytechnics do and this makes learning easier. It is easier for Polytechnic graduate to practice the practical aspect of his field than a university graduate with a degree

One good thing I like about Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria their low fees. Tuition in Federal and State Polytechnics are cheaper than that of Universities. Also, Polytechnics pay their schools fees every semester while in some Universities, you must pay everything at once
